During the next year or eo the number of children of school-leaving age in England will show a remarkable decrease. In 1933 there will be only 150.000 boys and 146,000 girls; in 1934, 142,000 boys and 141,000 girls; with fewer girls still m 1935. The scarcity will bo less pronounced the following year.
