CHRISTCHURCH, August 4. There were close contests in tho annual tournament between tho Christchurch and Dunedin Training Colleges to-day. Christchurch won the basketball by 10 goals to 8, tbo lawn tennis by 9 matches to 3, tbo boxing by 3 bouts to 2. Three events which are to he decided to-morrow cannot affect the result.
