LADIES' ASSOCIATION Tho weekly meeting of tho executive of the Otago Ladies’ Hockey Association was held on Monday evening. There were present Mrs G. A. Nelson (in tho chair), Misses Adams, Hervey, Reeves, Sergeant, and Hill. A letter was received from tiro South Canterbury Association thanking the Otago Association for its hospitality on the occasion of the match South Canterbury v. Otago. A letter was received from Miss Alice Woodhouse, Wellington, congratulating tho Otago Association on its celebrating its jubilee this year. . A telegram was received! _ from the North Otago Association asking for tho representative match to bo played on September s.—Arrangements to be made accordingly'. Two letters and a telegram were received from the Maniototo Sub-associa-tion with reference to tho match to be played against its representative team by an Otago second A grade team, and suggesting August 22 as a suitable date.—lt was decided that tho Dunedin team should travel to play a match on this date.

A letter was received from the South Otago Sub-association acceding to the request of the Otago Association that it should send an A and a B team to play Dunedin teams on August 15, the matches to be played at Logan Park.

In view of the above fixtures it was decided that knock-out seven-a-side tournaments for both A and B grades bn held on August 22. Letters were received from the Otago Girls’ High School Club and the Technical High School Club asking permission to travel to Ashburton and to Invercargill respectively to play matches against the school teams.—Permission was granted, and a donation of £1 Is was made to both clubs towards travelling expenses. SATURDAY’S MATCHES.

A Grade.—O.G.ll.S. v. Triangle, at Logan Park No. 3 (Mr J. Gray); Technical Old Girls v. Otago, at Logan Park No. 2 (Mr 11. S. Wallace) ; Momona v. Training College, at Logan Park No. 1 (Mr T. Bradshaw). B Grade. —A B grade trial match will be held at Oval No. 1 at 2. The names of players chosen to play in this match will bo published later in the week. All players are asked to be present. Mr 0. 1). Heal will bo the referee. C Grade.—Momona v. Technical Old Girls, at Oval No. 3 (Mr T. Moore); Taieri v. Otago, at North Ground (Miss B. Grigor); University v. West Harbour. at Oval No. 2 (Mr Braithwaitc).
