When he was trapped in an overturned blazing saloon motor car at Bournemouth, in England, recently, (ho first thought of Commander L. \V. Browll, JI.N,, was for his only passenger—his small terrier. When a rescuer succeeded in opening u door of tho vehicle Commander Browll handed out his dog before he scrambled to safety. Neither was seriously injured. Tho cur was destroyed.
