ELECTION OF OFFICERS WELLINGTON, August 3. The result of the annual national ballot of members of tbo Federated Seamen’s Union of New Zealand for the election of officers was announced by Mr H, E. Coombs, returning officer, today. It was as follows: — Wellington.—President, Mr E. P. Walsli; vice-president, Messrs G. Godfrey and A. AFNatty; treasurer, Mr C. Martin (all unopposed) ; secretary, Messrs J. Jones {57(5, F. Newfichl 974 (elected) ; assistant secretary—H. T. Pereira 200, W. E. Pouter* 270. J. L. Stark 039, M. Wall 727 (elected). Auckland.—President, Air D. M.‘Lonmin; vice-presidents, Messrs C. J. Smith and F. Trainer; treasurer, Mr N. Nilscn ; .secretary. Air T. F. Anderson; assistant secretary, Air H.
