CAPPING CEREMONY

CONFERRING OF DEGREES GRADUATES OF THE YEAR The annual ceremony of conferring degrees won by students of the University of Otago was held in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall this afternoon, the attendance being restricted on this occasion through the exclusion of undergraduates. The Chancellor (Sir Thomas Sidey) presided, and the address to the graduates was given by Professor Wall, of Canterbury College.
