A.J.G. SYDNEY, June R. The Winter Meeting of the Australian Jockey Club was concluded in splendid weather. Principal results: — Second Hurdle Race, 400sovs. About 2m.—Drake (11.2, Cutler) 1, Sir Carillon (9.2, Zcally) 2, Ulonjoy (9.2, Delaney) 3. Seven started. Won by three lengths and a-half, with ten lengths between second and third. Time, 3min 42soc. Flying Handicap, 400sovs. Of.—Green Sea (9.5, Jones) 1, Auda (N.Z., 7.12, Pratt) 2, Enlclare (7.9, Simpson) 3. Eleven started, including Gay Pallorina. Won by a neck. Time, Imin llijsec. Australian Jockey Club Steeplechase, l,ooosovs. About 3in. Burraforni (10.11 Hynes) 1, Indicate (10.13, Zoally) 2, Kinross (10.7, Giles) 3. Eight started, including Home Made. Prince ■ Arim fell at the first fence, and Indicate led almost throughout, with Kinross, Hurraform, St. General, and Grosvonor as liis nearest attendants, and Home Made tailed off. Turning lor home Indicate ran wide and lost ground. Finishing fast, Purraform slipped through and won an exciting race by three-quarters of a length, with Kinross ten lengths away third.
