The annual break-up concert and distribution of prizes of the West Taicri School was hold on Thursday, December 11, in the Woodside Hall. Regret was expressed at the departure of Aliss Ferguson from the school, and opportunity was taken to say a low words of farewell and good wishes. On behalf of the pupils. William Gorman (eldest boy) and Verna Alarshall (youngest girl) presented to Aliss Ferguson a handsome floating howl and dainty cruet set; while Mr APKcnzie, on behalf of the residents of Woodside, presented her with an electric kettle.
