INCREASE IN CAPITATION FEES The Nev Zealand Lawn Tennis As sociatiou has decided in favour of a penny increase in the capitation fees, making it 4d instead oi 3d, the extra penny to be utilised for fostering jumoi tennis. Mr W. J. Melody’s junior lawn tennis scheme, minus the finan cial proposals, is to be reintroduced. Junior national hard court championships are to be held in May. The New Zealand Association is to take control of the Wilding Shield and Nunneloy Casket competitions on a scheme to ho decided later. The association overwhelmingly opposed the affiliation of non-territorial bodies.
