Company has declared a dividend on 1,289,195 old shares out of the profits for the year ended September 30. The dividend is -payable on December 17. The net profit- for the year amounts to £131,177 after writing off £74,472 for'prospecting and development, depreciation, and taxation. WESTPORT-STOCKTON OUTPUT. The .general- manager, of the West-port-Stockton Coal Company Ltd. advises that the output for October-was 6,080 tons. COAL OIL (N.Z.)

The balance-sheet of Coal Oil (N.Z.) Limited, covering the period from October 1, 1928, to Juno 30, 1930, shows 'that the capital paid and deemed, to be paid at the latter date was £242,396. Sundry creditors account for £8,644, and tho liability to vendors is £37,738. There is a contingent liability in relation to an action brought by tho former manager. The assets include oil and coal'properties .in-New Zealand, £141,000;, plant and machinery, £20,702; furniture, .fittings, etc., £860; sundry debtors, £1,343; oil jiropertics, developments, rights, etc., £74,914; coal property developments, £659; flotation and preliminary, expenses, £22,205; administrative expenses, £9,568; ' and c- shj £4,965.
