WEDDING
WOOD—PARK. A wedding of unusual interest and charm was that of Miss Alfreda Helen Tolmir Park, only daughter of Mr and Mrs W. A. Park', of “ Cherry Farm,” Waikouaiti, to Mr Henry Copell Wood, only son of Mr and Mrs H. Wood, of Bluff, which was solemnised at Knox Church, Dunedin. The Rev. D. Herron was the officiating minister. The bride entered the church on the. arm of her father wearing a gown of_ ivory georgette and lace made on simple classic linos, her beautiful veil falling in graceful folds to the ground. She carried a sheaf of aurum lilies. The bridesmajd, Miss Mona Stark, wore a charming frock of flora] georgette in primrose shades, and she carried a bouquet of freesias and ferns. Mr F. Robertson, of Dunedin, attended as groomsman. During the signing of the register Mrs M‘Curdy rendered a solo. Mrs Park, mother of the bride, wore a graceful gown of black georgette and lace, with a smart picture hat. Mrs Wood, mother of the bridegroom, was attired in a smart gown of blue charmeuso and a hat to tone. She carried a posy to match. Mr and Mrs Park held a reception following the ceremony at the Strand Salon, where many relatives and friends gathered to wish the bride and bridegroom good luck and happiness in the future.
