Tho name of tho ship is tho Barariston. It had hitherto not been disclosed in fear of piracy. 1 Sir Denison Ross says tho value of tho treasures is incalculable, dating to 200 b.c., including the Crown jewels of Persia us well ns ornaments said to luwo belonged to Haroun A 1 Raschid, famed in tho Arabian Nights. [Sir Denison Ross is dierctor of tho School of Oriental Studies, London Institution, and professor of Persian in tho University of London.]
