The Duke of Connaught presented the Albert Medal for 1930 to Professor Henry Armstrong “ for his discoveries in chemistry and his services'to education.” An expedition which has left Leniu,grad is expected to attempt to reach Isolation Island, in the Kama Sea, a land which has been visited by men only once before. There are more than 800,000 insuredworkers in South-east England. Of these only 7 per cent, of the men and 5 per cent, of the women were unemployed on May 26.
