Ltd. import as under: — Oats,—There is a fair demand foxseed quality, and any suitable lines are being utilised for this purpose, ij armers’ oerings have ceased, and nominal values to-day are:—A grade Gartons, 3s 2d; B grade Gartons, 3s (sacks extra), on truck, country stations. Wheat.—A fe w-lines of pool wheat changed hands during the week. Millers’ stocks are sufficient to carry them through to the next year. Nominal values for milling grades are as follow.—Tuscan, 5s lOd; Hunters, 6s; velvet, 6s 2d (sacks extra), on truck, country stations. Fowl wheat is in fandemand, and is w'orth up to 6s 6dsex store (sacks extra). Cha.ft' —Consignmetns are coming freely to hand. The bulk is of medium quality, and consequently is hard to dispose of. These lines have to ho taken in to store and disposed of as occasion offers. Good bright quality is worth £5 10s per ton (sacks extra), ex truck, Dunedin; medium and inferior from £3 10s to £5, ex store. Potatoes. —The current price lor freshlv-picked tables is about £4 5s per ton (sacks in), ex truck, Dunedin. Supplies arc being drawn from Canterbury districts, as the loca growers have apparenty disposed of their hodings. SALES ON ’CHANGE: THIS DAY.
