LAWN TENNIS
TECHNICAL CLUB The annual meeting of the Technical Lawn Tennis Club was held on Tuesday evening. Mr J Harris presided in the absence of the president (Mr T. Scott). In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, the Chairman said that both were very satisfactory, and displayed the thorough work of the secretary. The team had not been so successful as in previous years, but had acquitted itself very well. This year it was hoped to enter two teams in the competition. Mr G. Proctor seconded tho adoption of the report, which was carried. The following office-bearers were elected:—President, Mr Scott, vicepresidents—Miss Wilson, Messrs W G Aldridge and O Vial, auditor, Mr D. M M'lvor; secretary and treasurer. Miss F. Henderson ; committee—Messrs J. Harris. G. Proctor, D. M Roche. Misses M Finlayson, S Marett, and K Sullivan, delegates to Otago Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs J Harris and F. Sligo; club captain, Mr J. Harris.
