Indications that Cozens Spencer, a former Australian film producer and lately a British Columbia rancher, drowned himself in a lake after slaying Eddie Smith, his storekeeper, and wounding D. Stoddart, also an employee, caused the posse to abandon tho search. He camo here three years ago with a fortune.
