The British manufacturers are choosing the motor show for the opening of an in tensive campaign to capture a bigger share of the overseas markets. Seventy-four car manufacturers will be exhibiting, the majority being Brit ish. America has the next largest display. and then come France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, and Austria. All-round price reductions for hettoi cars are promised. The cheapest car to bo shown will bo a British “ baby ” costing £123, and tho most expensive is 'a German model, at the same price as, or cheaper than, American vehicles of the same type.
