WEDDING
TURNER—BENTHAM. . A pretty wedding of much interest to Dunedinites took place at St. Paul’s Church, Auckland, when Esme, daughter of the late R. Bentham and Mrs Bentham, was married to Frank J., son of Mrs Turner, Auckland. An unusual and very delightful touch was that the bride was given away by her sister, Miss A. M. Bentham, of Auckland. Being well above the average height and very fair, the bride looked extremely handsome in a gown of powder blue rayon lace, cut on long, graceful lines, and having, a short coatee of the same material. Her hat and shoes were of the same shade, and she carried a sheaf of. irises. Her bridesmaid. Miss Eleanor Rose, of Wangamii, wore a frock of lemon georgette and a black bat. After the ceremony a luncheon was held, but there were no further festivities on account of the serious illness of the bride’s mother.
