SLICK FORTUNE
£15,000,000 FROM OIL NEW YORK, August 27. Almost unknown outside of his own company directorates, Thomas Slick, oil operator, died, leaving an estate exceeding £15,000,000. Starting with a shoo string, Slick built up the largest so-called independent oil fortune in the world. He left it equally divided between his widow and three children.
