BUSINESS TRAINING SCHEME MANCHESTER, August 22. A new business training scheme was launched by the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, and at a conference to which parents, schoolmasters, and prospective employers were invited, full information was given as to its scope. It is to be a link between the school and the career. Selected students are to be given a guarantee of a definite post in a business house of importance if they successfully follow a two years course of training. One of the roam ideas of the scheme is to meet the complaints of parents who after making sacrifices for their children’s education, cannot find suitable openings for them.
