HOCKEY
OTAGO V. SOUTHLAND The following senior team has been selected to represent Otago in the representative match against Southland, to be played at Invercargill on Saturday ;—G. Mackay, C. Belfield, C. Whitburn, J. Harris, D. Gilrr, A. Wilson, It. Fielder, E. Ronnick, M. Bay, N. Edson, H. M'Clatchy; emergency, A. Jennings. Both senior and junior- teams will travel to Invercargill by train on Saturday morning, and will return by the night express on Sunday. Owing to a number of the players originally selected not being available, the following will be the Otago junior team against Southland;—Cole (University), Grant (Technical Old Boys), Baber (University), Hayward (University), M‘Haffie (captain, University), Innes (University), Fisher (Albany), Foster (Technical Old Boys), Hanning (Colts), Griffon (Albany), Mcinung (Albany) ; emergencies M'Farlana (Albany), J. Dey (Albany).
