WIFE'S UNUSUAL WILL
LEGACY FOR SUCCESSOR. A woman left a legacy for her. husband’s second wife in a will proved in London in July. She was Mrs Margaret D’Este Egerton, of tho Croft, Great Bedwyn, Hungerford, Berkshire, the wife of Lieutenant-colonel Charles Hertel Egerton, D. 5.0., M.C. She left £11,098. After setting out certain bequests to her sister and cousin, Mrs Egerton left the residue of her property to pay the income to her husband for life, _ and then in trust for his second wife ; if he shall be remarried, for life,” with remainder for tho children of his second marriage or their issue.
