(Received August 7, at 10 a.m.) Continental United States _ has a population of 122,729,615, an increase of 17,018.999 in the past. ten ■ years. This is trio largest numerical growth in any decade in its history. The first complete compilation of a census, which is subject to revision, shows an additional 773,430 in the outlying possessions.
