SKATING’S CONTINUED POPULARITY

Skating has taken an undeniable hold on the people of Dunedin, and the suburbs, and as a winter pastime it can scarcely be excelled. The sessions at the Regal Skating Rink yesterday were again well attended, tho floor space being heavily taxed. The skaters who had previously made use of the rink again enjoyed the healthy sport, while the beginners were ver } v keen to experience the thrill of gliding round tho rink at top speed, fn the evening skating again provided entertainment and exercise for many hundreds. A special attraction on the programme was a fine demonstration of waltzing, two-stepping, and fancy skating given by the manager, Mr 11. Spencer. . He received a deserved measure of applause from the large number of patrons present. The sessions to-day were as popular as ever, and tho times for the evening sessions are advertised.;
