The Wahinc. from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 7.10 a.m. to-day, and passengers and mails connected with tho south express. BANGITIKI AT WELLINGTON. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rangitiki arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from London and- Southampton, and after disembarking passengers and mail for Now Zealand the vessel will proceed to Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff to unload her general cargo. The Rangitiki is due at this port on August 13. LOADING PROGRAMME. Tho Shaw, Savill Company ad rises that the Mamilius is duo at Bluff on August!2s from Australia to commence her Homeward loading. She will subsequently load at- Port Chalmers, Timaru, Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Wanganui, and Wellington, and is scheduled to leave Wellington on September 16 for London, Avonmoutb, Liverpool, and Glasgow via Montevideo. SWEDISH SHIPBUILDING. Swedish shipbuilding set a new record in 1929. Fifty-seven vessels of 169.000 dead-weight tons, were delivered by Swedish yards in 1929, as against 39 vessels of 160,000 deadweight tons in 1928, and 35 vessels of 81.000 dead-weight tons in 1927. JARRAH FROM BUNBURY. Tho Millar’s Hardwood Company’s chartered steamer Raisdale was to have left Banbury on Saturday with jarrah sleepers for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, , and. TOFUA FROM ISLANDS. Early on Monday morning the Union Company’s Island passenger steamer Tofua arrived at Auckland from Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa. The vessel experienced severe conditions all the way from Suva to Auckland, heavy beam seas breaking on board throughout. She was delayed in her passage and would ordinarily have arrived on Sunday afternoon. Included in tho cargo was u considerable consignment of bananas, Tho vessel is scheduled to sail on her next trip to Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa at ,11 o’clock on Saturday morning* . , .
