HUNT CLUB

On Saturday afternoon the Otago Hunt Club held its meet at Mount Grand over the. properties of Messrs T. Dalziel and I). Anderson. The following, considering the , counter-at-tractions, was quite a large one. There were twenty-six horses at the meet, of ....which twenty-two followed the hounds. The ground- was in splendid order for •jumping, and the run, although a short one, jwas exceptionally fast. The “ brush ” was secured by Miss Mi Statham,'. whose .horse, Red Rata, jumped yei-y well. Amongst the lady followers was Miss June Orbell. daughter of the master of the South Canterbury Rack The Wingatui stables were represented by sis horses, all of whom jumped exceptionally well.
