KINDERGARTEN ASSOCIATION

The monthly meeting of the council of the Dunedin" Free Kindergarten Association was held on Thursday afternoon in First Church classroom. The following members were present:—Mrs Phillips (in chair), Lady Allen, Mesdames Batliam, Callan, Ewing, Glendining, Halsted, Haggitt, Henderson, Jenkins, Mollison, Shand, Wright, and Miss Scott. . . Mrs Hutchison wrote asking ior leave of absence for six months from % the council, and also resigning her ppsi- \ tion as, vice-president. Members ex- . pressed' appreciation of the work -Mrs Hutchison had done for the kindergarten, and her resignation was received with regret and leave of absence : granted. The directors of all schools reported very favourably on the attendance for the month, and on the work being done.
