The correspondent or ‘The Times at Milan says that in commemoration of Prince Umberto’s wedding the King of Italy has granted an amnesty under ’ which a year will be remitted from the sentences of civil, and two years from the sentences of military prisoners. Belief will also be given in the case of pecuniary penalties. It is estimated that 400,000 persons will benefit. Six tlwmimd convicts will be liberated, ■ but dangerous criminals and convicts who are likely to constitute a social • danger have been excluded from the amnesty. •
