Griffiths and Ryan, the Australian swimming champions, competed at Gonville, Wanganui, last evening. Ryan was successful in establishing a new Wanganui record for the half-mile, doing the distance easily in llmin 58 2-ssec. Griffiths also created a new record of 2min 35sec for the 220yds,
