CHRISTIAN SCIENCE LECTURE
The world io-day is experiencing a revival of interest in the things of the Spirit. Public expression abounds with references i-> the spiritual needs of humanity. Materialism, even in its relinements, ha* failed to satisfy human aspiration. Everywhere men arc turning from matter to spirit, instinctively confident that under Divine direction the 1 spiritualisation of life will meet every human need to-day, and will justify the longing and the hope for a spiritual to-morrow. This spiritualisation of thought, and life is the peculiar work of Christian Science in human consciousness. The Hon. W-. E. Brown, 0.5.8., a member of the Board of Lectureship of the Mother Church, the First Church of Christ Scientist in Boston, Mass., is to lecture at the Tabernacle, King street, on Saturday. December 7, at 8 p.m., and His Majesty’s Theatre, the Sunday following, at 5 p.m.
