The first battalion of Grenadier Guards changed its quarters from the Tower of London to Wellington Barracks recently In accordance with custom, the Grenadiers marched through the city with colours flying, drum beating and bayonets fixed. The Lord Mayor took the salute from the Mansion House. Photograph shows a section of the parade passing the Lord Mayor’s historic residence.
