He wa* found to be suffering from delusions,Ho previously self-accused himself of! murders with, which he wan not con# nected. [Joseph Barratt, aged forty-five** walked into a Glasgow police station and made a statement concerning thei Reading murder. Detectives wer® hastily summoned from Reading, and Barratt was charged with the murder, of Alfred Oliver, of Reading, whicK led to the unjustified suspicion oii Drew. Barratt was remanded,_ and .a permit for his removal to Reading wa| granted.
