PHYSICAL FESTIVAL
The Dunedin School of Physical Culture will present its second annual display on Saturday next at Princess Theatre. This year the performers will number over 300, and a pi ( gramme of exceptional diversity is assured. Many of the massed exercises have been specially compiled as a result of years of research into the forms and postures which provide the necessary medium for the correct development of the body beautiful, and at the same time give the most novel effect in display work. There will be an entirely new series of exercises and apparatus work for each of the desses, and the ladies’ educational, posing, and deportment exercises, go’den wands, and club swinging movements, girl tumblers and gymnasts, men gymnasts, juijitsu exponents, dancing girls, and others will be a distinctly novel interpretation of a system which stands all tests The costumes and stage scenery have been specially chosen to lend (he most harmonious effects to the children’s and ladies’ exercises, while an efficient orchestra has been engaged to accompany the various items. Box plans are as advertised.
