For the Auckland Trotting Club’s Spring Meeting the weather was fine, and there was a large attendance. The track was in fair order after heavy rain. Results;— Waitemata Handicap, 2oosovs. Ijjm —1 Tamahine (12yds) 1, 4 Paradigm (36yds) 2, 8 Linnet the Great (48yds) 3. All started. Won by a neck; two lengths. Time, 3min 38 l-ssec. Improvers’ Handicap. 250sovs. —3 Haroto (sor) 1, 5 My Thorpe (scr) 2, 6 Wrackeen 3. Scratched: Gold Seam, Man-o’-Belle, Student Prince, Nel de Beau. Won by two lengths; four lengths. Time, 3min 30 2-ssec.
