(Received October 21, at 9.15 a.m.) Theatrical circles are distracted by the death of the well-known actor, Humberto Zurlo the critical illness of the leading actress. Cannon Mas, and the less serious condition of eight other members of the same company, all of whom contracted psittacosis from a pet parrot. *■ ft is revealed that the parrot, which played a minor role in La Theatre recently. began to pine, upon which it was potted and taken care ol by the members of the company, who are now attacked more or less seriously by,the disease, from which the parrot was the first to die.,—Australian Press Association.
