JJ’hcre is abundant evidence that the ex-Kaiser is uot repentant and still holds violent anti-English vicTts. In an article by Brigadier-general Waters, describing a visit to the ex-Kaiser, and published in tho ‘Quarterly Review,’ the writer says he was invited to Doom as part of an attempt to counter Avhat the Kaiser described as tho vile intrigues of British statesmen. Discussing tho alleged hunger blockade of Germany, the ex-Kaiser said: “England will have to answer heaven for that atrocity.” 'While referring to reparations he said bitterly that if justice Avcre done all those milliards of marks should be repaid. Tiio letter of invitation received by Brigadier-general Waters to visit Doom began: “An ocean of abuse, vilification, infamy, slander, and lies rolled over me from London, disclosing a spirit of debased and venomous hatred Avhieh Avas not expected from a country avliosc national sorrows I shared. My Avhole life Avas filled with the hope of establishing a better understanding betAveen Britain and Germany which might lead to an agreement or an alliance, but, all my 7 quiet labour was utterly detsroyed, and instead of an ally I became tho arch-fiend, the Hun Attila.” —Australian Press Association.
