WAHGAIiIii CHAMPIONSHIPS At the Belmont Links yesterday the Wanganui Chib championships were commenced in fine weather, with a strong north-westerly wind in the afternoon. L Cathro (Castlecliff) headed the list of sixteen who qualified for match play with an aggregate of 151. D. C. Collins (Wairarapa) was second with 164.
