ARRIVED. —August 15. Golden Coast, s.s. (8.20 a.m.), 5,052 tons, C. E. Hagberg, from Pacific Coast ports via north New Zealand ports. Plume, tanker (11.45 a.m.), 8,621 tons, Ramsay, from San Francisco via north New Zealand ports. SAlLED.—August 14. Corinna, s.s. (11.30 p.m.), 1,319 ions, Christie, for New Plymouth via ports. The Corinna-sailed last night loaded for'Nelson and New Plymouth via ports. This evening tho Breeze is to leave port for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Ou Saturday tho Calm is expected in from Bluff to load and sail the same day for Wanganui via ports. The Waipiata is due here to-morrow from Auckland, via ports, to unload general cargo. Sh© completes at Bluff. Leaving Napier to-day the Kahika is expected here on Sunday next. She loads the following day for Napier and Gisborne via ports. The Northumberland was to leave this afternoon for New Plymouth to finish putting out her English cargo. The motor ship Oldham is duo at Wellington on September 1 from New York. She will load at the northern port for Madras and Bombay, and will then proceed to Australia to sail from Fremantle early in October for Madras direct.

The Union Company has received advice that tbo steamer Gamania will replace the Janus, and is to leave Calcutta on August 15 with cargo tor Wellington. An August 30 the Kaitangata is to clear Hobart with cargo for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. To continue discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo the Hauraki was to leave Wellington to-day for Melbourne, thence Adelaide and Sydney. Tho steam 'trawler Ruru, which was sunk in the Waikawa Harbour some months ago, was refloated last week. The Burn settled on a sand bank, went over during the night, and was filled with water by tbo rising tide. \ arious means lor her recovery have been employed by Mr F. She 1 will'land only passengers and mails at Wellington* and is to leave there on Monday afternoon for Lyttelton. Port Chalmers, and Timaru to put out her cargo. RARANGA EXPECTED FROM LIVERPOOL. Tho llaranga, en route from Liverpool reports by wireless that she expects to arrive at Auckland to-morrow morning. She is carrying cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. PLUME DISCHARGING. An exceptionally fine weather voyage from San Francisco to New Zealand was experienced by the Vacuum Oil Company’s tanker Plume, which arrived this morning to finish putting out hey cargo of hulk oil at the Victoria wharf. She has already unloaded a quantity of oil at Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton. GOLDEN COAST HERE. From Los Angeles via northern ports tho O. and O. Line’s steamer Golden Coast arrived, this morning, berthing at the Victoria wharf to discharge lumber. case oil, and general merchandise. Tho cargo was loaded at Novo, 'Vancouver, Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angelos. She sailed from Los Angeles on July 1. Alders, who lias been on holiday at Wellington, has resumed command of the Waipiata, relieving Captain Eoas Clark for instructions. Captain A. B. Sizer, of the Kairanga. has been transferred to command of tho Kaituna, and Captain S. Hewitt, of the latter vessel, has transferred to command of the Kairanga. Mr J. Warcup has rejoined the Kaimanawa as chief officer, relieving Mr W Colo for orders. Mr H. A. Brockett has relieved Mr F. W, Collins as chief officer of the Hauraki; Air Collins is awaiting instructions at Wellington. Mr W. A. Todd, second officer in the Union Company’s service, arrived at Wellington from Sydney by the Maunganui on Monday. VESSELS IN WIRELESS CALL.
