Another departure yesterday was that of the Holmdalo, bound for Wanganui via ports. Arriving yesterday afternoon from the north ' tho Breeze ‘ discharged general cargo and commenced loading. She is now timed to sail to-morrow for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Now duo on Friday from Auckland via ports the Waipiata unloads part cargo here and then goes to Bluff to finish discharging. zVt noon to-morrow the Kahika is timed to leave Napier for Dunedin direct. She is due here on Sunday, and will load out on Monday for Napier and Gisborne via ports. zlbout Friday next the Wingatni is to leave Auckland with cargo for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Timaru. 'Die Makura left Auckland hist night for Sydney, where she is duo on Saturday. The Aorangi, from Sydney via Auckland, Suva, and Honolulu, is duo at Vancouver on Friday next. The auxiliary schooner Huia is reported to have left Groyniouth yesterday morning for Port Chalmers, where she should arrive early next week. She unloads explosives in the Lower Harbour, and then comes up to Dunedin to load cargo for Auckland. Having loaded in New Zealand the Canadian Conqueror sailed from Auckland yesterday afternoon for New York, Boston, and Montreal.

THE FERRY SERVICE. , Tho Maori, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 7 a.m. to-day, and her southern passengers and mads caught the express. THE PORT AUCKLAND. Tho Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Auckland, which left Wellington for London on July 3, is reported to have cleared Las Palmas last Wednesday. - PAKIPAKI AT COLON. En route from New York, with general cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin, the A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer Pakipaki is reported to have 1 arrived at Colon last Wednesday. She is due at Auckland about September 3. NOTICE TO MARINERS. The Auckland Harbour Board advises that the dredge Hapai has been moved from abreast the centre opening of the boat harbour breakwater and the opening is now clear for navigation. Tho Hapai is now moored in a position approximately 212 degrees, 800 ft from the eastern end of the boat harbour breakwater, and she is working to the southward. She has six moorings laid out in north, south, oast, and west directions, and the anchors, which are laid in shallow water, are marked by buoys with tho word “anchor” painted thereon. TOFUA SAILS. MANUKA RESUAIES RUNNING. After undergoing overhaul at Port Chalmers tho Union Company’s steamer Manuka came up to Dunedin this morning and berthed at the cross wharf to load general cargo and embark passengers ready to resume running this afternoon in the intercolonial service. From this port she proceeds to Lyttelton and Wellington, thenco Alelbourne.
