Two masked robbers, who secreted themselves iu Michael Briggs s butcher shop at fiedfern to-night bound and gagged Briggs, and covered him with a revolver. They commenced to hunt for cash, and discovered a bottle of whisky, which they impudently consumed. A woman heard the men s threat to Briggs, and telephoned the police who dashed to the scene iu a car, and arrested the bandits, but not befote a ■shot was fired by ono at tho "woman who gave tho alarm.
