PARISIAN'S FIAT DOVER, April 18. Roger Vincent, a young Parisian, today crossed the Channel from Calais on a hydro-cycle in record time. Less than two hours after Ids arrival at Dover from Calais the Channel was covered with a dense fug, which would have made such a feat impossible. \ inceut has not before attempted a sea voyage on Jus hydro-cycle, the “Calais Donvros,” but lias been content with paddling it up and down the Seine. He showed no trace of fatigue alien ho came alongside the Prince of Wales Pier. Starting from Calais at 7.20, he had completed the trip in live hours, thirtylive ndimteo Savard, in a similar feat iu J 927, took six hours ten minutes.
