TRAMWAY BAND
The third concert of the season bT this band will bo held to-morrow night in His Majesty’s Theatre. The band will be assisted by Miss Mao Matheson,Mr W. H. M'Kenzie, and Mr Les Dailey (vocalists), and Mr E. - Andrews (xylophone soloist). The band it* lll * include the hymn, ‘ Be by My Side,overture, ‘ Tailored! ’ (Elliott), selection, ‘ The Spirit of Youth ’ (Greenwood) , romance, ‘ Love and Duty ■ (Rimmer), humoresque, ‘.Who’s Dai; A-callin’ ’ (Truman), and tbo march, ‘ Fearless Footsteps ’ (Rimmer). The popularity of the humoresque number; is beyond doubt, and this band will endeavour to have one on each programme. The number ‘ Who’s Dnt' A-callin’,’ an arrangement of the old darkio melody, treated in all sorts or humorous ways, should take on well. Doors will be open at 7 jp.m., and a collection will be taken on entering m aid of band funds.
