CHINESE CARNIVAL

The Chinese Carnival, which is being held in His Majesty’s Theatre and Fullers’ and Victoria Halls, to raise funds for The St. John Ambulance BrU gade, was again well attended on Saturday. Delightful dancing, one of the features of-the programme, was given by Gladys Crossau, Dale Austin, and Fred Wauchop, and enjoyable vocal items were contributed bv Mollie Andrews, Jack Nelson, and Norman Lemmon. The stalls in Fullers’ Hall did good business aiid many couples visited the cabaret in Victoria Hall. The carnival will conclude next Saturday night.
