The House of Commons gave the third reading last night to two Bills designed to promote the co-operation of the London passenger traffic and the provision of a common management of the tramway, omnibus, and ‘tube services.
The -promoters gave an undertaking that if Parliament passed the measures cheap ticket facilities, including workmen’s fares on the tramways, would be continued, and workmen's fares introduced on the bus services, and that further tube extensions to districts of Greater London would be undertaken.
