The Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club Hew the final race of its young bird season on Saturday from Timaru, an air-line distance of 196 miles. The birds had a fine day, and showed their appreciation bv putting up last times. The station ‘master liberated seventyfour birds from nineteen lofts at 12 noon, and the winning bird timed m at 2.15 p.m., completing the distance in 2h 15min. Results in yards per minute: —
