The Hon. T. K. Sidey lias relumed for tin; Otago University Council meeting to-morrow. Mr H. peace. A farewell social was held in the Mosgiol Methodist Church in honour of the Rev. Mr and Mrs Duncan, who have been transferred to the North Island. Mr J. B. Brown occupied the chair. A pleasant evening was passed in games, music, and recitations. During the programme Mr and Airs Duncan were each presented willy a M.osgic! rug as a mark of appreciation of their work in the district. The latest guests at the Grand Hotel include Messrs H. 0.
