AMERICAN INTERESTS THE PRESIDENT'S VIEW. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. WASHINGTON, April 13. American interests in the reparation settlements were discussed at an important conference between President Hoover and the Secretary of State (Mr Stimson)_ to-day. ft is understood that the President takes the veiw of opposing the reduction of American claims for The Rhino occupation costs at the present time, but might consent to reductions after the United States has received the same percentage of such payments as Britain and France. It is believed a memorandum representing the American viewpoint lias been drawn up and lorwarded to the American reparations experts at Paris.—Australian Press Association-United Service.
