An Irishman, who inul been advised by his solicitor to plead guilty as a first offender, stood in the dock. “ Arc vou guilty or not guilty?” asked the magistrate. “ Guilty, ycr Honour, and I’vo got. witnesses to prove it,” replied the prisoner.
