Sir .Hubert Wilkins, .speaking over 1 lie radio, said he was planning to partake of dinner next Christmas with Commander Byrd in Little America. The broadcast was apparently picked np by Commander Byrd’s station, and the latter sent an immediate reply, slating that the expedition would welcome Sir Hubert, and “ a. penguin’s leg” would bo saved for him. “We have a couple of hundred seals Cor the winter,” sand the message. “Wo are eating seal and whole now, and like it.”—Australian Press Association,
