FAMILY ENDOWMENT
BAVIN GOVERNMENT AGREES TO AMEND ACT Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, March 19. ("Received March 20, at 1 a.in.) The Bavin Government to-day agreed to make an amendment to the Family Endowment Act by which a 2 per cent, tax will bo imposed on wages paid by the employers. It is intended that the unemployed shall benefit by the scheme.
